Tips for Better Budgeting

Set monthly budgets per category

In the Expense Tracker, use the Monthly Budgets section to set spending limits for each category. The Budget vs Actual view shows your progress at a glance.

Export regularly to keep backups

Since all data stays in your browser, export your expenses to CSV regularly. This also lets you analyze your spending in spreadsheet apps.

Use the same browser for continuity

Data is tied to your browser's localStorage. Using the same browser and device ensures your data persists between sessions.
