How to Format the Education Section of Your Resume

What to Include
Degree name (full, not abbreviation), Institution name, Location (City, State/Country), Graduation year (or expected year). Include GPA only if 3.5+ and you graduated within 5 years.
What to Remove After 5 Years of Experience
High school (always remove after any college education). GPA below 3.5. Coursework and extracurriculars. Academic awards older than 5 years. Semester exchange programs (unless very relevant).
Multiple Degrees
List in reverse chronological order (most recent first). PhDs and Master's always above Bachelor's. Don't list completed Bachelor's if you also have a Master's from the same field — the higher degree implies the lower.
