Free BMI Calculator & Health Metrics Tool
More Than Just BMI
FreeBMIKit goes beyond a simple BMI calculator. It calculates body fat percentage (using Navy formula), ideal body weight (by multiple formulas), Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE), waist-to-height ratio, and more — all in one free tool.
Understanding Your BMI Score
BMI (Body Mass Index) is calculated from height and weight. A BMI of 18.5–24.9 is considered healthy, 25–29.9 is overweight, and 30+ is obese. However, BMI doesn't account for muscle mass — a muscular person may have a high BMI without being overweight. Use it as one data point, not the whole picture.
Calorie Calculator for Weight Goals
Enter your age, gender, height, weight, and activity level to calculate your TDEE — the number of calories you need to maintain your current weight. To lose weight, create a calorie deficit of 300-500 calories per day. To gain muscle, add 200-300 calories above TDEE.
